QP TURNS 60
Come and celebrate our 60th anniversary
Queanbeyan players is turning 60 this year and to celebrate we are holding an exhibition and concert as well as two great shows Pirates of Penzance and 9 to 5 The Musical!
As part of the celebration we created a webpage with some of our history as well as inviting people to comment, provide stories or join the choir for the concert.
Exhibition and Pirates
During the run of Pirates of Penzance 3-13 July we held an exhibition on past shows and memorabilia at the Exhibition space at The Q Theatre. We would like to thank to Belinda Hassal for her excellent work organising it!
Anniversary Concert & 9 to 5
Our second event was a concert celebrating our past shows, held on the 14th of September at The Q Theatre. Many people came celebrate some of the great performances from our past musicals.
The region premier of 9 to 5 The Musical was our second show for the year (31 October - 9 November). The production was a huge success and received excellent reviews!
