Les Mis workshop with Philip Quast

Rehearsals are already underway for our upcoming production of Les Misérables!

In December, Queanbeyan Players were privileged to welcome Australian theatre icon Philip Quast, who worked with the cast across two weekends on character development, and text study, sharing many of his experiences working on the show. PQ has an incredible depth of knowledge and experience, having played Javert in the original Australian production of Les Miserables and the legendary 10th Anniversary ‘Dream Cast’ concert at Royal Albert Hall, and many other iconic roles including Playschool! We were so thrilled to get to work with him, and the cast had the privilege of learning about the show from the very best!
